National Preventive Health Awareness Month


Did you know following simple healthy habits such as: flossing once a day, eating 
the recommended number of servings from the five food groups, and sleeping for 
seven or more hours each night can provide a variety of health benefits and 
prevent illness. Unfortunately, many of us fall short when it comes to these 
habits.  Stop by the John H. Chafee Fitness Center and pick up information on ways 
to improving your preventive health practices in order to maintain optimal health 
and performance.

This MWR event is open to active duty personnel, retirees, reservists, 
eligible family members, and DoD civilians with base access.
