Sign-up to have your Fitness Screenings Assessments with a fitness specialist. Functional movement
screenings will help recognize movement patterns that support work, sport, and daily activities and
help you to understand the relationship that movement patterns play in our health and fitness goals.
Functional strength is a measure of upper body and lower body strength using various body weight movements.
A certified trainer will give recommendations to improve your areas of concern. Establish your baseline
and reassess in three months and see your progress. Sign ups begin Monday, January 14 at the John H.
Chafee Fitness Center.
This MWR event is open to active duty personnel, retirees, reservists, eligible family
members and DoD civilians with base access.
