Fishing Tournament

Coasters Harbor Island Marina Fishing Tournament

8 am to 4 pm
Shore or Boat

REGISTER: At marina office, must bring Military/DoW ID, possess a RI Saltwater fishing license, and if fishing from shore on base must possess a Base Fishing License (NO fishing from Pier 1 & 2, vehicle bridges or Coasters Harbor Island Marina)

BOUNDARIES: Narragansett Bay - Southern: Castle Hill to Hull Cove, Northern: Sandy Point on Prudence Island.

SUBMITTING FISH: If the fish is a keeper, fish can be measured at the dock.  If the fish is not a keeper and a participant still wishes to submit a fish, they can take a picture of it next to a ruler/tape to show the size.  All fish must be submitted at the Coasters Harbor Island Marina office.

FISH SPECIES: Striped Bass (At least 28”, no bigger than 31”, one per person/per day)

Blue Fish (No minimum length, 15 per person/per day); 

Fluke (At least 19”, five per person/per day)

Black Sea Bass (At least 16.5”, three per person/per day

PRIZES: MWR Gift Certificates to the top three participants for each fish species.

 

Open to all Active-duty personnel, Reservists, Retirees, Veterans Dependents & DoW civilians with a valid ID & base access.
