Auto Skills Center is open, reservations are encouraged, and limited walk-ins will be accepted if space allows.  To make a reservation, visit  Auto Skills Center hours are Friday: 12-8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.  This does not affect the car wash which is always open 24/7, no reservation needed. We accept used oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and oil filters free of charge during hours of operation, no reservation needed.  

The focus continues to be on COVID Mission Essential Personnel.  For families not currently enrolled who are seeking care, we are not currently accepting new enrollees.  You can still register for a future spot on  Once we can accept new enrollees, they will be taken off of this list via the standard CNIC priority system.  Exceptions to the policy for new enrollees may be requested on a temporary basis based on mission critical needs.  Please contact our front desk at (401) 841-4562 if you need more information.  The CYP team is continuing to work diligently to ensure a safe, positive environment for your children, and we look forward to seeing more of them back soon!

The marina opens for the season on May 1st, due to COVID restrictions sailing and powerboat lessons will be open to Active Duty Personnel ONLY with reservations starting on May 1st.  Lessons begin mid-May.  For reservation link visit  *Reservations must be done on computer/laptop, reservation system will not work on mobile devices.  Rental boats, kayaks, paddleboards and fishing poles will be available to rent at the marina for all authorized patrons.

All authorized patrons - 16 and over.  Patrons are required to pass screening and temperature checks before entering, and strict limitations apply to the number of patrons authorized within each area of the facility.  Face masks must be worn at all times (except when engaged in cardio activity).  Commands looking to reserve exclusive time/space may reserve by downloading the reservation form on the fitness center webpage.  Beginning on Monday, May 3 basketball courts will open, patrons must be fully vaccinated to use.  Locker rooms are open on a limited capacity and limited shower access for swimmers only, and we encourage everyone to read the FAQ’s (located on gym web page) prior to coming to the fitness center. Chafee Fitness Center are open to Active Duty personnel, Dependents, and DoD civilians, space is extremely limited.  Reservations are required for all non-active duty patrons, and are STRONGLY recommended for active duty patrons.  Active Duty patrons may be accepted as walk-ins for the classes if space permits.  Call the front desk at (401) 841-2512 to make a reservation.   

Rent select camping gear, coolers, canopies, folding chairs and lawn games.  Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance, with credit card payment required at the time of booking.  Equipment is available to be picked up on Thursday or Friday and returned on Monday or Tuesday ONLY between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  For reservation link visit  *Reservations must be done on computer/laptop, reservation system will not work on mobile devices. Open Monday-Friday (drive thru opens at 6:30 a.m.), weekends and holidays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Purchase Starbucks coffee, drinks, plus a selection of sandwiches, chips, cookies and more!  Store is open to 16 patrons at a time with social distancing protocols.  The computers are not available for use during COVID.

Dependents, DoD civilians and Military Retirees with valid ID and base access can make reservations in our Rec Fit Express satellite fitness facility located in the Community Recreation Center, Building 656.  Patrons must pass COVID screening to enter.  Reservations are required and hours are limited with no more than five patrons in the facility at any time.  Face masks must be worn at all times (except when engaged in cardio activity).  To make a reservation visit:, reservations are in 
one hour block, Monday-Friday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Looking for a safe Spring activity?  Come join us at Seaview Lanes for socially distanced bowling!  Limited reservations are available for two hour all-you-can-bowl sessions.  Each reservation will have exclusive use of one half of bowling alley.  Mid-day, evening, and weekend morning “Brunch & Bowl” sessions are available.  Open to Active Duty personnel, Reservists, Retirees, Dependents, and DoD civilians with valid ID and base access.
