Swim to Spring Challenge
Monday, January 28-Friday, March 29
Record your activity, including aqua fitness classes, water wellness, and lap swimming. Throughout
the nine weeks, participate in an activity and one mile per week to reach the first tier. Level up
with two, three, or four miles per week for an even better workout and prizes! Record your activity
in the log book on the pool deck.
Aqua Fitness Classes – 1 class = 32 laps
Water Wellness – ½ hour = 16 laps
1 mile a week = 32 laps (x9 = 288 laps)
2 miles a week = 64 laps (x9 = 576 laps)
3 miles a week = 96 laps (x9 = 864 laps)
4 miles a week = 128 laps (x9 = 1152 laps)
Preregistration is required and can be done at the John H. Chafee Fitness Center.
This MWR event is open to active duty personnel, retirees, reservists, eligible family
members and DoD civilians with base access.
